SQAY Federation of India successfully celebrated the 37th World SQAY Day on 7th of May-2023
It was a remarkable event that showcased the beauty and significance of this traditional martial art form of Kashmir.
The Sporting events, Seminars/debates were organised throughout the length and breadth of the Country and throughout the Globe .
The main event was organized by the SQAY Federation of India at Ahrabal a tourist destination in South Kashmir's Kulgam District where participants displayed their talent and dedication to the art of SQAY.
It was evident that the competitors had put in a tremendous amount of effort and training to reach the level of skill that was on display.
One can understand the importance of martial arts as a part of our cultural heritage and also for its various health benefits.
The celebration of the 37th World SQAY Day has not only promoted the sport but also showcased the potential of martial arts to bring together people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
The efforts of the Sports Ministry and all those involved in making this event a grand success. Events like these inspire and motivate young people to take up sports and martial arts and contribute to the growth of the sports industry in the country and oblige.
