The WSU signed MOU with the WBPF

The World Sports University (WSU) , high education institution under the GAAPSF had signed a MOU with the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation (WBPF) on October 4th, 2022. Under this MOU, the WSU and the WBPF together will carry out education courses and to gain international certification of those courses, in order to upgrade the level of the course and to obtain international recognition, will issue licenses for coaches and gym managers, and will establish the College of Bodybuilding & Physique Sports and International Training centres in China, Macau and other cities in Asia. 

First Judo Economic Forum took place in Tashkent

The first Judo Economic Forum organised by IJF was held successfully on October 5th, 2022, at the convention hall of the Hilton City Hotel in Tashkent, the main topic was to learn more about the bridges that exist between the worlds of sport and business.

MD Adkhan Ikramov, Minister of Sports Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who was the master of ceremonies, H.E. Jamshid Khodjayev, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, were present at the Forum.

Mr Marius Vizer, IJF President give his speech:
Through this occasion we want to deliver a message to the world, a message of modernisation, development, innovation and accessibility and also a message of unity, friendship and peace. For that, the synergy between economy and sport is of the utmost importance. Sport is not only about medals and education, it is also about creating connection mechanisms to create a better world.

Following this first part of the Forum, a panel discussion, with the theme 'Trends in finance, technology, society and IT supporting a prosperous future' and moderated by Mr Vlad Marinescu, the IJF Director General, took place, with the participation of Mr Marius Vizer, MD Adkhan Ikramov, Mr Viktor Huszár (CEO of FITEQ), Mr Oleg Pekos (First Deputy Minister of Development of Information Technologies and Communications), Mr Gábor Emori (CEO i-Cell) and Mr Islom Jasimov (Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

Marius Vizer concluded, "I personally feel like a world citizen. My life is judo and my identity is judo. Through our values we can educate the youth and offer them a better life through the development of the economy."

 

 

Hong Kong Taekwondo Para Athletes achieved excellent results in international competitions.

Hong Kong Taekwondo Para Athletes achieved excellent results in international competitions.

The 2022 Oceania Taekwondo G2 Online Open was held from August 1 to 31, 2022.

Hong Kong Taekwondo Para Athletes Chen Jiamin (Para P30) and Zhu Yingyan (Para P20) won the Gold and Silver medals respectively in the black belt group under the age of 17 and over the age of 17 (P20 and P30).
This is the first time for Hong Kong taekwondo para athletes to participate in the international G-level competition recognised by the World Taekwondo Federation, and won for the first time a historic good result for the Hong Kong Para Taekwondo.

Macau Bodybuilding and Physique Sport Championships 2022 successfully completed

The “Macau Bodybuilding and Physique Sport Championships 2022”, organized by the Macao Bodybuilding & Fitness Association and supported by the GAAPSF, took place on 11 September 2022 at Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, Macao.

More than 150 athletes participated in the Championships, competing for the 28 awards.
Mr YAU Chong Wa won the title of Mr. Macau 2022 and Miss YU Chi Ling won the
Best Popularity Award 2022.
