Organised by the Macao Judo Association and with strong support from the Macao Sports Bureau, the Macao Judo Open2023 was successfully held on Sunday at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, Venue A. Due to the increasing popularity of judo in Macao, participation in judo has expanded from children and youth to include advanced and veteran athletes.
Based on the widespread promotion of judo, a total of 62 events were held throughout the day, making it the largest event in its history. It attracted over 200 local athletes to participate. As the most representative annual judo event in Macao, held three years after the pandemic, the atmosphere was fervent, with every athlete demonstrating an indomitable spirit of competition.
